Talk About Assault is a graphic design sexual assault awareness campaign that educates through offering information about safer sex, fighting sexual related stigmas, and starting conversations about sexual assault among students and within their households.
Through this campaign, I targeted 3 specific groups with my posters: parents, high school students, and college students. I feel these were the groups that hold the most influence over the future of how we as a society deal with sexual assault.
For each poster, I designed a typographic sign for the model to hold. The phrases on the signs served as taglines for the posters.
The most important part of this campaign was implementing it across Wittenberg Univesity's campus. I did this by printing out large-scale versions of the posters and hanging them in different academic buildings. I then created stencils of the hand made signs that the models held in the posters, and used spray-chalk to temporarily graffiti the sidewalks and walkways between buildings.
